What is Utah's new alcohol limit?

On December 30, 2018, Utah began enforcing the strictest alcohol laws in the country. The allowable blood-alcohol content limit is now .05.
Utah Code 41-6a-502 memorializes this update to the law.
Remember, that you can be charged with a DUI even when you are not driving your vehicle. The standard in Utah is “actual physical control” of the vehicle. If you are in or around your vehicle, even if you are asleep, and you have the keys to your vehicle, you can be charged with a DUI. We have had clients charged with a DUI when they are in their driveway or sleeping in their vehicle outside a bar.
